In the same month my debut album drop my pops had surgery on his neck
It left him paralyzed I saw the fear in his eyes, reflected in mine
Next to my mom watching him grieve
Wiping tears from her face with my heart on sleeve
Throwing up the Roc as I stood on stage with Hov
While my own father could barely walk like he's two years old
And I'm gone on the road so mental state feels like the interstate
All of the travelling took its toll
Guru had a DJ set first night in Toronto
I was off the D'usse swimming in ace of spades
I hit the club with owner's brothers over the head with the bottle
I was at my breaking point I couldn't contain my rage
All the aggression that I was reflecting was just depression
Looking at album sales lower than I expected
I wrote my Odyssey on The Autobiography
Felt like Capitol ain't pull through with all that they promised me
Tatted Alexandra name on my arm as a promise ring
Then I broke it like a joke, now I'm laughing at myself
It's easier to place the blame on everybody else
I'm yelling fuck the world but it's really a cry for help

Drowning in controversy I made it my identity

In the midst of the madness my baby sister had a psychotic break
Spent Christmas in a psych-ward not knowing if she's in good hands like all state
That was a tall order for the fam she's only 5'4"
