All that's visible is crimson

I prepare
To drink deep its well of wisdom

A lifeless star
Makes darkest day

Beyond reprieve

Silenced call
Extinguished flame

Blood red tyrant

Empty chest
Without familiar rhythm
Its knowledge, mine

As cold as ancient stone
The ruined heart has been disowned
