For a place to watch the comets race
Through stained glass eyes and window panes
In an old oak house so far away

Did the roof give way?
I hear the bricks shatter in the waterway
The stars take shape
I feel them glow from a world away

This skyline, it guides my epiphany

Why do we glow for you
When the children of light decide for us that there's no room?
Will we throw ourselves into this great unknown
Where does the wind blow
When the air is alive and has no altitude?
Can we breathe on our own

Paint on the walls has peeled away
To reveal the vastness of space
Yet a light is seen in the night
Bright as magnesium burning away

As the walls give way
I see you coalesce in a galaxy
A shapeless place
Where I just don't feel
Feel the weight
