DAY 5 - Yesterday's Me

Sometimes the results is the process
Sometimes wins don't take much
Sometimes adults are just nonsense and kids gon say much of the truth
Sometimes the stubborn of youth is what's called for to combat the moment we in of struggle and peril
We wear our fear as anger, a more rugged apparel
We leave that foolish belief we need behind
That we could change the world we find
We keep the rhyme and reason lines
We use to excuse our selfishness
Sleep in the corner of the room far from the elephant
You could taste in the air the growin bitterness of our rhetoric
Don't want be out of ours so we create a new element
From hatred and prejudice or rakin the benefits
But I say all this to say I woke up feelin good this mornin
Feel like we could this mornin
And for that, yesterday's me is on some jealous shit
