Last night we played in Denver down at the Grizzly Rose
It must have been the altitude that gave me the bloody nose
But now we're all out of time and all the clean shirts to put on

We'll black out at 2 A.M. and get into a fight
Spending all of our money from the gig we played last night
And when the bottle's finally empty and not much else could go wrong

We pulled into Tennessee a little higher off the ground
Came to play some country, boys, and we came to paint the town
Well it's one more night in Nashville and then home to San Antone
