Matters at hand need to be addressed
But you and I need to take a rest to
Leave the lines open for the ones
With information and not for father's sons

You couldn't listen to someone else
You thought you'd tackle this one yourself, but
As you spoke, did it not occur
There could be someone to whom you could defer?

When it's important and you're not familiarized

Where there is proof and yet the loudest voice denies

Put your pride and vanity away
Tomorrow could be way worse than today
So stop saying the things you can't unsay

Just count to ten, don't be too quick to criticize
Where do you stand when you say "Yes, and?" then improvise
