Turned off my phone today, stuck it in the drawer
It's too loud inside this empty house so I walked out the door
Surrounded by what God had made, I couldn't help but stare
I need a little face to face time with the man upstairs
Looking at my life, it's time to make a change

And a life that's full of simple things
And a little piece of Heaven right here in front of me

Always praying for the next best thing, 'stead of what I'm thankful for
Kneeling by my bed last night the good Lord spoke to me
He said son what do you lack
Look around, tell me what you see, and now I see
