I thought I was already at the bottom of the bottle, but I never stopped sinking
Then I got washed up in a lost city, it's not pretty, but I got a good feeling
That I'm gonna finally unpack all my baggage, even if I'm in a sleepwalk, dreaming
I don't wanna know what's in the water, but it's gotta be toxic and everybody's drinking
On the brink of a mental collapse, afflicted with dissonant madness
Wrapped up in tentacles, trapped in a prison or is it a passage?
'Cause whenever I'm closing my eyes I'm letting her open my mind
To look into the void, I don't have a choice, so I hold my breath 'cause I'm going inside

Voice in my head, I'm hoping you're mine
The one who just said that the ocean will rise
I know that in time I'll float with the tide
And get up close with those older divines
Down in the depths, reality's a facade
What we call death is just the sleep of the gods

When I'm on a crime scene, evidence never gets by me, there's nothing I'm not gonna detect
Even if I'm low on HP, luckily I've always had a love for the craft
Intuition, of course I'll bring, I got a sixth sense for this sorta thing
Every time I open a temporal portal, on the edge of insanity, I'm bordering
I'm at the mercy of a cosmic force, I think I was thirsty and went to the source to drink
With the rising tide, the shore will shrink, it's clear this city is sure to sink
Feels like my mind is in an existential kinda crisis
So why should I strive for survival with how insignificant life is

I drown in indoctrination, I'm bound to end up a patient
Inside an asylum basement, straight jacket, padded room, pacing
Jacked up on some medication, raving about how creation's
Just a playground for some ancient gods, if they want, could erase it
One of 'em's gotten her way with my brain, succumbed to persuasion
I don't wanna stay but that train is about to exit the station

We're going a hundred fathoms under, probably won't come back
