Out of context, she smiled endlessly
She couldn't quite figure out what felt so wrong
She didn't know why certain moments would stick for so long

And to compensate for what she believed
That it was his fault and not mine
It was back in the time when we were so naive
But they all just couldn't see, so they all just let her be

How the life that she lived was bound to go

There's just something that she never quite saw through

I guess she never knew why she was blue
