Old Glory

Started this morning when I poured myself a drink
Then I headed to the bar cuz the whiskey kills the pain
I tried to drink the bottle but the bottle drank me
Last text I got is baby get home safe
I stumbled through the door it's a quarter past four
Couldn't make it to the bed so I slept on the floor
I told her last time baby was the last time
But I had a shitty week I'm trying to ease my mind
