I follow close to Father
But feel so far behind
How often do I ponder
What secrets he may hide

I carry mother's ashes

A washed-up god of war
Upon this shore a little farther north

But he's haunted by the past

To take up his father's sword
Force himself to ignore the past
Back when revenge was all he swore

Better brush up on Nordic monster lore
Slaughter trolls, ogres and Draugr lords
If you need a weapon
Then make a friend with a Dwarf who's got a forge

When his legend is etched in history
Henceforth it's all in Norse
He's still got a lot of strength
But his Spartan rage is not the source
Nor does he draw his power
As the former god of war
His is stronger for his progeny
That's what my father's for
